Certified Electrocardiogram Technician Program

Program Goal

The goal of this program is to prepare students to perform electrocardiogram (EKG) tests in order to monitor electrical impulses of the human heart for the purpose of assessing the health of the heart.

Program Description

Students in this class will learn about the human heart and the human circulation system. They will learn how to interpret electrical impulses produced by the heart for the purpose of determining its health.  The students will learn how to take and read an electrocardiograph under the supervision of qualified medical personnel.

Program Duration:          5 Weeks

Program Eligibility:         Must be a least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED.

Program Fees:                   $1995 (payment plan available upon request)

This cost includes books, OSHA & CPR training, certification test application fee, laboratory and other supplies.

Program Certifications

Students who complete the programs will receive our certificate of completion. Additionally, graduates will be eligible for the optional certification exam provided by the National Health Association (NHA) to be a Certified EKG Technician (CET).

Program Flexibility

To accommodate work and family schedules, we have flexible day, evening and weekend program schedules.
