Program Goal

The goal of this program is to train multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to provide basic nursing assistant care as well as other highly skilled functions in preparation for an entry level position in a variety of healthcare institutions.

Program Description

This creatively designed program is a combination of three independently very successful programs-nursing aid, phlebotomy technician and electrocardiograph technician. The program is designed to provide the nursing aid with technical expertise to provide traditional as well as highly technical care to patients. Students are trained to be competent nursing aids, phlebotomy technicians and EKG technicians, capable of working in interdisciplinary healthcare teams in a variety of healthcare settings. Program Duration:          11 weeks

Program Eligibility:         Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or a GED.

Program Fees:   $4,695 (payment plan available upon request)

This special program is highly discounted when taken as a combined package as opposed to taking them individually, which would cost $7000.

Program Certifications

Upon successful course completion, students will be eligible to take the National Certification exam to become a Certified Phlebotomy Technician, Certified EKG Technician through the National Health care Association, the state of Delaware’s nationally recognized nursing aid certification to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. In addition, students will be eligible to take the National Certification exam to become a Certified Patient Care Technician through the National Healthcare Association.

Program Flexibility

To accommodate work and family schedules, we have flexible day, evening and weekend program schedules. We also proctor the exams several times a year at our classroom locations, thus providing the flexibility for graduates who are fulltime workers to schedule their certification exams.


Employment opportunities

Graduates from this high demand program may find employment with a variety of healthcare facilities such as hospitals, clinics and long-term care facilities.
